Mrs. Kimberly Powell

Mrs. Powell has been employed at Wrangell Public Schools since October 1990.  She is a 1987 graduate of Wrangell High School. 

In addition to serving as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, Mrs. Powell is the district's Human Resources Director, School Board Clerk, and Migrant Education Records Manager.

Mrs. Powell has served on several pilot committees for the State Department of Education, including the OASIS Online Student Information System and the Migrant MIS2000 Pilot Committee.  She has been active with the Association of Alaska School Boards and occasionally teaches classes to her peers around the state. 

When not at the district office, Kim can be found hiking, camping, fishing, traveling the world, or spending time with her family and her three standard poodle hybrids.  She also enjoys volunteering with various youth and service organizations in the community.
