It's nice to be home!

My name is Ryan Hayes, I was born and raised in Wrangell and am so happy to be back. I got my degree in education at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales but have spent my entire teaching career in Alaska. I taught math for 6 years in Bethel, followed by 8 years in Kake, and then 6 more years in Petersburg. Now I am teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 here.

Students in my class will need a notebook just for math, as well as lots of pencils.

Class Rules

• Everyone gets treated with respect at all times.
• No hats, no hoods.
• No phones. Period.
• Gum is allowed as long as it is not seen or heard.
• No doing homework in red pen.
• Always show up to class with your computer, math notebook, and a pencil.
• Assignments must be turned in on time for full credit.
• Missed assignments due to absence are your responsibility.
• If you have any math to work on, you must finish that before you can work on any other subject.
• Items that distract the teacher or other students will be confiscated.
• No backpacks on desks.
