Dear Wrangell community,

You’re invited to a series of community conversations on education and our shared future with Dr. Joshua Garrett, Superintendent, Wrangell Public School District at the Nolan Center.

Our first two dates are:

• Thursday, November 20, 7:00 PM

• Thursday, December 4, 7:00 PM

These gatherings aren’t formal school district meetings. They’re open community spaces—welcoming families, students, elders, educators, business owners, and neighbors—to reflect, collaborate, and envision a future of learning that:

• nurtures curiosity, character, resilience, and creativity

• prepares young people for citizenship and meaningful contribution

• equips them for the challenges of an unknown future

Each session will be simple and engaging:

• Brief welcome and framing

• Small-group conversations to surface hopes, ideas, and concerns

• Whole-group share-out and next steps

No RSVP required—just bring your perspective and your imagination. If you have a student in your life, consider bringing them along; their voices matter.
