How can we help?

Special Education is intended to provide support for students who demonstrate a qualifying need.  We are here to support students to meet their needs in the least restrictive environment.  The areas of need that special education can be called upon to serve are diverse, and the services we provide need to be individualized in order to address their diverse needs. 

We serve students along a spectrum: from speech support a few times a week for a few minutes to full-time support throughout the school day and all things in between. 

We begin the process by taking a look at the individual child: what are their strenghts, interests, and areas of need.  We take this information, and as a team (including YOU, the parent!) we determine the need, whether it would require special education intervention, and then develop an individualized plan to help fill that need.
