Hello! I am Tasha Morse, and I was born in Wrangell and raised in Eastern Oregon. I studied at Eastern Oregon University and graduated with a Bachelor of Music in 2007. I also attended Eastern Oregon University to complete my Master's in Teacher Education (MTE) in 2008. I came to Wrangell to teach in 2008 and have been here ever since. My husband Adam and I have two lovely girls and two silly dogs.
I enjoy the outdoors and traveling. You can frequently find me working in my flower and vegetable gardens in the summer and taking walks around the Nature Trail. I have traveled to some fun places around the world. These places include China in 2007 with my University Chamber Choir and two trips to Italy in 2014 and 2017! I am looking forward to traveling to Northern Ireland (hopefully next summer) to visit my family that lives there.
In the 2020-2021 school year, I started teaching Art, and while doing that our Art Program won a runner-up cash prize for the Vans Custom Culture Contest to the tune of $15,000!!
I was also named the Wrangell Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year!
